Cunninghams Reach Park,
Meet at Cunninhams Reach Reserve at 11.00 for a leisurely paddle on Lane Cove River. We will be paddling upstream exploring the twists and turns through through to Fullers Bridge. Bring something to eat and drink as we will be stopping along the way to take full advantage of this iconic river.This paddle is ideal fore beginners on this quite waterway.
To access the reserve, head down Burns Bay Rd from Lane Cove. After passing under an overhead footbridge, move into the left hand lane, as the Loop Rd turn off is only 100 meters pass this point. The turn off is on the left just before going onto the bridge. Follow the road to the car park where there is un-metered parking.
Note access to the Loop Rd is only possible southward bound along Burns Bay Rd. Bring a picnic for the mid-paddle stop. As the weather is uncertain, bring a light rain jacket (just in case) along wide brim hat, footwear that can get wet, 1lt water and sun block. Water proof bags will be supplied. Phil[masked]-402.
