Bonham State Park

Let’s go camping with all our NTO pals to celebrate our last weekend in Texas. Everyone is invited, old friends and friends we haven’t met yet.

Bring your RV! 9 RV friendly sites left, book now!!  We’re bringing ours (a first for us!). Of course tents and hammocks are welcome.

And please, don’t be sad.  We’re headed out on a great adventure, and it’s only goodbye for now.  If you’ really miss us, you’ll post your own event on the NTO meetup page to keep this awesome group going!  Plagiarize my past events for ideas.

I’m sticking with the same ol’ routine:

It’s car camping, so bring your luxury items. Big tent, big bag, and lots of good food. Campfire games and responsible adults consuming adult beverages are always welcome. Just remember to put your beverage in an alternate container. Parks have a strict ‘no public consumption of alcohol’ policy, and a low tolerance for violations. They’ll throw us all out.

Everyone is responsible for securing their own campsite.  You can reserve a campsite on Texas Parks and Wildlife’s website, however, they will not allow you to reserve a particular site. You’ll be asked your preference of site when you check in at the park. Consider sharing a ride and a camping site with another NTO-er.

The first person to check in should post their site number on this meetup page under the comments after checking in, that way we can all get sites near one another.

Firewood gathering is prohibited in all Texas State Parks. Please bring firewood so we may continue our tradition of awesome NTO campfires.
